I doubt it. Probably more due to our current 3-3 record, a slew of injuries on the defense, and a pretty tough schedule. I expect he's wanting to go to the team he thinks has the best chance of winning this year.

But this does prove the one given point about Ted Thompson and that is he will not go after a proven veteran via trade or FA

Gonzalez is good, but we Don't need him. We have Lee who is a pretty good TE. Passing targets are not our weakness. Our weaknesses are our banged up defense, and our rushing, but I think Grant will come around against Indy.

El i think it was more of a (hey look Ted Thompson is trying to make this team better and got a big name ) type of thing. Just once i wish he would do something besides trade down in the draft
