Sorry to hear, Cheesey. I don't know what the laws are like in Wisconsin, but there are laws that protect tenants with or without a lease.

My wife and I fell on the good side of not having a lease at the last place we rented. Our lease had run out, and we told them on multiple occasions to bring the new lease for us to sign, but they never did. When we told our landlords we were moving out, they tried to tell us we had to sign a lease for the previous 4 months before we could move out. If I remember correctly, my wife laughed at them on the phone and then hung up. I think I posted something a while back about the whole situation, but I know how it feels to not be able to sleep at night because of a landlord and the stress they can cause. Our last landlords basically gave me a six month long panic attack.

Keep your head up, pal. "Lots of reasons" is not a reason, and you don't have to accept that as reason enough to be evicted. Some people just like to have that power over other people. I wish I could be of more help, but unless you're ready to move to Iowa, all I can do is wish you the best in your search for a new place and keep you and your wife in our prayers. Keep us posted.

Thanks.....i'm so tired. Still haven't found a place. Please keep praying.
I yealled at God about this......i mean, He already knew how i felt about this happening, so it didn't make sense not to tell Him straight up.

Dude! I can find you a nice place in Howard for less than 800 that accepts doggies. Right accross the street, heat, A/C, dishwasher, two bedrooms, electricity, all included for 555 a month! The only draw back is you're 100 yards away from me 😛

Keep the faith Cheesey. Something will turn up. I don't know.........100 yards from Zero2Cool is kind of scary. LOL

I'd tell you to move out here, but the real estate and rental markets in and around Missoula is absolutely unreal. Prices of homes and rents never did drop much like the rest of the country, and now its going back up again. There is a house about 5 doors down from us that is going to be empty this weekend and it's rented already for $1800 a month. The people who own the house are friends of ours and they said they have no problem renting it out. They get good renters too.

Besides, with me, Chuck, and Mike on the block.....each of us retired, and known for doing goofy things, I'm sure the rest of the block would declare war against us. What's better than 3 old farts having a beer and planning our next caper to keep the neighborhood amused?
Anyone for a Weenie Roast?

Still no great news. But i have been moving stuff to a storage unit, so if we find a place, the move will be easier.
The B***H works right downstairs from us every day, and it's hard just to be there. She's a loud mouth, and if you don't have the TV on or a fan, you can here her cackling.
I want to get away from there as soon as we can. I can't stomach her anymore.

Dunno when Cheesey will get a chance to get on the web-r-nets, but just thought I'd update you guys with the latest.. While at the game Mrs. Cheesey text'd him and told him not to worry that they have a place. She locked it down while we were at the game.

I'm sure Alan will log on and give most the details, but I did want to let you guys know.

Thanks for letting them know Formo! This was my first chance to get on here. I saw the place tonight. It's pretty darn nice! The bedrooms are small, but there are 3 of them! And a BIG living room, whirlpool bathtub, lots of cupboard space in the kitchen. It's a house that was split into 2 units. The upstairs is a small apartment, one guy living there. We have the whole 1st floor. My biggest concern is that it's an additional 18 miles each way for my wife to drive to work. In the summer, not bad....but winter scares me. Although it's almost all highway.
Man.......now all i have to do is get the BIG stuff moved. I have most (not all) of the smaller stuff boxed up and put in a storage unit.
And THANKS Formo, for giving me a few hours off of the worry by taking me to the game!
I feel like i let you down. I wasn't my "normal" Cheesey self. You got ripped!!!LOL!

I KNOW! LOL!
But my wife tells me not to worry, she can handle it.
The nice thing too is, it's only $125 a month more then we are paying at the small place we are in now. So we should be ok.
Plus, it has a WASHER AND DRYER in it. Something i haven't had for the last 3 years. (My clothes are DIRTY!!!) Had to say that before someone else did!
Seriously, i had to go to the laundrymat. It's a small thing, but in winter can be a hassle. But it's the small things like that that cut down on stress.
I'm hoping to have the big stuff moved in Tuesday. A friend said he will help me. If he follows through, i'll be ok. I only have about 8 items that are too big for me to move alone.
To all that put me in their prayers/thoughts, THANK YOU!!!
GREATLY appreciated!!!

Zero2Cool (22-May) : Savage played last half of season with tear in rotator cuff
Zero2Cool (22-May) : SISSIES!!!!
Mucky Tundra (22-May) : Sounds like both Kraft and Tom were injuried before OTAs began
buckeyepackfan (22-May) : Not serious but waiting for strength and conditioning coach referwnces.
buckeyepackfan (22-May) : Tom and Kraft both injured(pectoral muscle),
Zero2Cool (20-May) : I feel similar about person and product/service.
beast (17-May) : Not sure why a players views reflect on GB... instead of simply on the player
Martha Careful (17-May) : I bet some of us have had 6+ mRNA jabs, a UKR flag on our walls, and still think Fauci has a thread of integrity
Zero2Cool (16-May) : From what I've read, it's all Jets , not us.
CanPackFan (16-May) : Will there ever be a time when Rodgers' whacko views will not reflect on GB? He is the past, thank god.
Zero2Cool (16-May) : Jan 4th gonna be rough with that start time lol
Zero2Cool (16-May) : Packers schedule listed. Boom.
buckeyepackfan (15-May) : Let the leaks begin. Colts @ Packers week 2, Vikings @ Packers week 4
Zero2Cool (14-May) : WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling to Bills
Zero2Cool (14-May) : Jets and Aaron Rodgers open up on Monday Night Football,
Zero2Cool (13-May) : $170 guaranteed. This might impact Jordan Love
Zero2Cool (13-May) : Lions are signing QB Jared Goff to a four-year, $212 million extension
Zero2Cool (13-May) : I know we moved on. That tidbit just makes me a touch happier.
Zero2Cool (13-May) : Sources spoke of many, many times last summer where Hackett called a play, then Rodgers changed it completely at the line
Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.
beast (10-May) : Meyers pass blocking is really good, his run blocking is really not.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : And the OL protections seem to be good.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : I really don't know lol. I don't see him getting blown up.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : -3 buwahhhahaaha
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : 4th
Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Context. Sounds like Myers won't be cross-trained. C or bust.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : @BookOfEli_NFL Packers pass game coordinator, Jason Vrable said that Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks shared a placed in Florida while train
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : For now...
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers go about evaluating their "best five," OL coach Luke Butkus makes on thing clear: "Josh Myers is our center."
beast (8-May) : Though I'm a bit surprised letting go of CBs, I thought we needed more not less
beast (8-May) : It was confusing with two DB Anthony Johnson anyways
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers actually had Ray Lewis on the phone.
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers wanted to draft Ray Lewis. Ravens stole him.
Martha Careful (6-May) : Happy 93rd Birthday to the Greatest Baseball Player of All-Time...Willie Mays
Zero2Cool (6-May) : Walter Stanely's son
buckeyepackfan (6-May) : and released CB Anthony Johnson and DL Deandre Johnson and waived/injured WR Thyrick Pitts (thigh-rick).
buckeyepackfan (6-May) : The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Julian Hicks, OL Lecitus Smith (luh-SEET-us) and WR Dimitri Stanley
Zero2Cool (6-May) : Petty, but it's annoying me how the NFL is making the schedule release an event.
Mucky Tundra (4-May) : @mattschneidman Matt LaFleur on how he tore his pec: “Got in a fight with the bench press. I lost.”
Zero2Cool (3-May) : Jordan Love CAN sign an extension as of today. Might tak weeks/months though
