It doesn't look like the Packers will be able to run the ball this week.
Lion #5 in rush defense. Natural that brings up the question is their run defense THAT good or is it because they get ahead and other teams must pass to try and catch up? My guess is the latter.

Of their schedule
#3 Titans, which that Titans offense sucks, that should tell you about the teams rushing that's ranked below them.
#2 Buccaneers, 10th overall in the NFL in rushing per game and the Lions defense absolutely did shut their rushing game down in week 2 of the season. Buccaneers RBs had 17 carries for 40 yards, or 2.35 yards per carry. Looks like the Buccaneers were without their starting RT for the game. The Buccaneers won by shutting down the Lions offense.
#1 Cardinals (which having a running QB helps), They're 7th in rushing... looks like their RBs got 13 carries for 32 yards for 2.46 yards per carry. In another fairly low scoring game. But QB did have 9 yards per rush.
Looks like the Lions shut down the RBs, and the other teams switched to the passing game where they had a lot more luck.
But do the Packers have a better OL and RB than them?
Also if Willis is playing, some read option or planned QB runs might be huge change ups.
