A bounce back performance is expected to be given by the Minnesota Vikings as they return to the Metrodome and flush off their disappointing plays they had, meanwhile Miami Dolphins must keep their best start since the year 2002. A raging hope is flowing on Minnesota as they enter this season for their first Super Bowl in 34 years, however, that chase slap off due to their 14-9 loss last Thursday with New Orleans. As Favre didnt enter to the season without his team to the 17th of August, he made 15 of 27 for 171 yards having a touchdown and interception. Favre and the Minnesota Vikings are not with their top target from last season, Sidney, he was replaced by Greg Camarillo who came over in a trade with the Miami on August 25. Percy Harvin also experienced major migraine headaches. On the last Thursday of their game, Harvin and Camarillo had done only one reception. Harvin, was diagnosed with sleep apnea after manifesting a heart stoppage during their practices. Their center player, John Sullivan, was also sat out in their preseason because of having a calf injury.
Riding their best ever winning streak since a 12-game run from October 24, 1999-November 30, 2000, Favre with Vikings just lost one game out of their 15 games at the Metrodome. But, Miami (1-0) didnt play there yet since 2002, when the last time the season started 2-0, they lost three of its trips since 1979 to Minnesota. On the other hand, the Dolphins who played against Buffalo, has won with 15-10, but now having a difficult time in stretch. Dolphins over Vikings, is the opening of four straight against 2009 teams for Miami, which are the hosts for New York Jets and New England prior to roving to the Green Bay.
Solid rushing happened to the Miami last Sunday due to the association of Ronnie Brown(notes) and Ricky Williams(notes). They made a combination of 127 yards and a touchdown. Another efficient player was implied by Chad Henne(notes)for having 21 of 34 for 184 yards with no interceptions. The Dolphins are playing without their starting defensive end Jared Odrick(notes) in their one or two games. The 28th in general pick in this years draft, Odrick, had a slight hairline fracture last week in his right leg. Between the teams, Miami has won six of 10 for all their meetings; these include 24-7 victory at the Super Bowl VIII. On November 19, 2006, the Dolphins took the previous matchup.
