No, I don't believe it is okay for him to break the rules.. and I have no issue with them taking the award away or him giving it back.
But to ridicule him endlessly while it happens in every school to some degree isn't being realistic. The only difference is the amount of the cash, his families ignorance and he got caught.
My point is he isn't some leper and the rest of the college game and probably a number of Heisman winners are free of that offense.
