Thats the only explanation I can think of for such a bad throw. Its great to get the win even if their were some ugly moments.

It looked too good to be a "slip".

I'm sticking by the "inexplicable wormhole" theory. (see other thread)

Either that or Rodgers had a temporary hallucination and saw an extra Packer receiver where one wasn't.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

On the recap on NFL.com you can see Rodgers' face during the throw, and immediately knew he threw it badly right after he let it go, which is why I don't think he intended to do it.

I think this throw should be made into an oliver stone movie. Was there a phantom receiver or not??

It's weird that he would throw it that far if it really slipped away. You'd think it would fall short of wherever he intended to throw.

Exactly. I can imagine that you let it go before you want to and that it travels a bit further than expected, but this was one hell of an overthrow.

Problem is, there's really no other reason to throw it there. No one was running that deep.

So I guess we'll just go with it slipping, while it was already going to be too high or something.

For a QB with a normal arm this would be true. With Rodgers, a fan is lucky they did not get taken out by the slipped ball.
