1- Brett still has his arm and didn't get hit very much. He wasn't totally in sync tonight, but he certainly wasn't awful. I put quite a bit of the blame on the receivers.

For Brett, he was out of sync with the receivers quite a bit, but I think a big part of that was that none of the receivers could create anything on offense. I thought he did fine.

Last night Favre was 15/27 for 171 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT (71.68 rating). He started the second half 0 for 7, if I'm not mistaken.

Last year in Week 1 he was 14/21 for 110 yards and 1 TD (95.34 rating).

Last year in Week 2 he was 23/27 for 155 yards and 2 TD (115.28 rating).

In terms of raw passing yardage, Favre is well ahead of the development curve with respect to last year. In terms of passer rating, though, he's lagging severely behind. 😉
