With the packers play so far in the preseason..Does it change how you view the team going into the regular season? (Warning: May use some of your answers in tonights radio show)

To me, I don't put THAT much stock in pre season to get all wigged out about anything. The offense looks unstopable, no way Aaron Rodgers will play this way through an entire season, no way the offense will be this good all season. On defense...The secondary has struggled. They may not be as bad as what we think...Everything changes when pre season ends.

Both sides stop playing vanilla... Rodgers says the defense they've played have been very vanilla and the Packers have basically rushed only 3 most of their first two games and against the colts they played mostly vanilla nickel but rushing 4

The only thing I aimed to view during the preseason was the QB's mechanics. Specifically, footwork, time to release the pass, velocity and if their using quick reads with anticipation or simply drilling the ball in at the last second.

Unfortunately, I am not going to get this upcoming game. NFL Network isn't even going to replay it for me. Bastids!

The only thing I take out of it is the main theme that our offense is probably even more unstoppable than last year, and that the young CBs have not stepped up, with the possible exception of newby Sam Shields.

As has been said by people since the dawn of preseason football. It's never as good as it looks and never as bad either.

Defense for me is impossible to judge since we haven't seen the entire starting defense on the field together as a unit, that could be good or bad I suppose.

Overall for preseason it's a matter of looking at individual matchups and watch to see players win their 1 on 1 battles. If individuals win their 1 on 1 battles then the team will have a good shot.

I somehow missed that before. I went through three days after the game and found nothing that said Packers on TVGuide.com.

i'm pretty cautious about putting too much stock into preseason either way.

case in point: the lions went 4-0 in the 2008 preseason only to go 0-16 that season.

Last year we were going for those wins on defense. We blitzed a lot. We went in the complete opposite direction this year, evaluating our "talent" in base defense. We have no base defense, that much has been confirmed.
I don't care. You cannot stop our offense. I don't care who you are. We faced many, many blitzes this pre-season. Remember the 49ers game a few years ago? They put the blitz on us, and damn near killed Rodgers.

You can go ahead and blitz us---I would---we will STILL smoke your ass.

WHEN we blitz now, it is HIGHLY effective. We disguise it so extremely well.

Capers- If he has the courage to do so, SHOULD have figured out by now that our nickle/prevent/rush 3 D COMPLETELY SUCKS---contrasted with our "pressure" D--- which is arguably the best in the business. It doesn't even look hard to figure out, but we are Wisconsin folk, and the shit seems to trickle down (intellect-wise), so I remain quite nervous. Our secondary seems to suck shit without pressure.
