Isn't this the second game in a row that Shields got a pick at the end of the game?

i hope GB is done with Jarrett Bush and keeps Shields instead

And thats not alcohol talking either...which is kinda sad.

Also does that say "we're gonna need a lot more alcohol" on your big board? :thumbleft:

I didnt think the 2ndary was terrible. a mis communication a lot of the passes were just nice throws and catches beating the zones we had set up.

Pass rush looked ok. Colts have a good line and good QB that can keep things at bay. We miss not having Matthews out there but he should be good to go for the season. He brings tremendous speed rush so we need him back. Most of our pressure came from the inside collapsing the pocket.

Here is the thing about the pass rush. The line got a push. When GB has their starters playing like Clay Matthews and they scheme to pressure their opponent, that line is going to be a big factor. If the push is like it was tonight for most of the season, I think that's a positive sign.

Regarding Zombo again. You know, if Brad Jones doesn't get his butt on the field, he may not have a full-time job. Zombo has a high motor and he played the run real well tonight. My worry would be him in coverage, but he could be a third-down player as early as this year.

I cant believe no one mentioned Quinn Johnson...Almost every block he made was Epic! I'd keep him over Hall at this point...

Q is a dominating blocker. He'll be our fullback of the future once he gets groomed a couple years more. He will be a beast tho. Imagine him at the goal line, pounding his way past defenders for 6. This team has tremendous talent at every position.. besides maybe punter.

Masthay impressed me tonight, though you're right, he's not a tremendous talent. I think after this game it's his job to lose though. I think i remember the commentators saying that the muffed punt had over 5 seconds of hang time.

On the special teams note, how come I haven't heard of Jason Chery at all? Granted, on his return, he had a giant hole to run through, but he really turned it on.

To Masthay's credit, he has been pretty consistent in getting 4.0+ hang time. His main problem has been avoiding touchbacks, which Bryan does real well. Masthay still needs to be more consistent with his punts inside the 20, but a 53 yard punt and about 5.1 sec hang time? Yes, please! Outstanding punt.

As for Jason Chery, I too was wondering why we had not heard his name more. Bedard commented on his blog that it was because he had suspect hands. However, MM said that Chery has done well with his chances, and was in line for more snaps (whatever that means, with one preseason game left). Swain may have a legitimate challenger for that 5th WR spot now.

Here is to hoping we sign this guy and we get a legitamate OLB for the opposite side of matthews. I havnt seen the game yet (nor the seattle one) but it sounds like this guy kicks some butt. We really need a solid OLB for our team (since we didnt deam to draft one).

btw Im glad we picked up burnett; the dude has some good skills. Ya there looked to be some misreads; but I loved that INT he had; its like he knew ahead of time it was going to be thrown where it would be thrown.

Cant wait to watch this game (watch all the NFL footage mutiple times lol))
