Ok, i understand that Twitter can be valuable.
I once had an exchange with a Silicon Valley CEO, illustrated by his ability to cram amazing content into 140 characters or less. I am not anti-Twitter.
(Though what I've seen of sports Twittering leaves me wholly underwhelmed about that sub-genre.)
What I don't understand is linking to a tweet. Look, if someone says something you think is important, why not just cut and paste the whole thing as a quotation? Heck, most people can retype 140 characters in well under a minute even by the hunt and peck method.
Why do people link to the tweet instead. Laziness? Or some weird Twitter protocol I'm aware of. Just doesn't make sense.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
