Sounds like Matthews will be out 2 weeks with the hamstring injury and Bigby will have surgery on Friday. And I heard Bell's injury didn't look good but I haven't read anything official on it.

The current injury list looks something like

RB James Starks (hamstring)
TE Andrew Quarless (hamstring)
WR Donald Driver (calf)

DE Ronald Talley (knee)

LB Clay Matthews (hamstring)
LB Alex Joseph (quad)
LB Brady Poppinga (concussion)
LB Frank Zombo (ankle)

SS Atari Bigby (ankle)
CB Al Harris (knee)
CB Josh Bell (foot)

Alright it was last Friday not this Friday. Thanks. Ether way he's still out for now.

Also I think Blackmon and Barnett were held out of scrimmage but sounds like the Doctors just wanted to make sure their bodies got a day off recovering from surgery.

Also I thought I heard Martin was having some troubles?

anyone else injured or any word about how is anyone doing?

Running a little thin on depth. Starks needs to get on the field or go IR he's eating a roster spot we could use for another LB.

No really bad injuries at this point, knock on wood. Some teams have already lost players for the entire season. The Broncos, in particular, have been hammered with multiple serious injuries already.

Harris's injury is the only biggie right now, and he may be able to make it back for the beginning of the regular season, or not long afterwards. Same goes for Bigby.

Matthews' hamstring injury has me concerned. It seems like they take forever to fully heal, and once you've tweaked it once, it's too easy to keep tweaking it over and over.

Yeah.... I don't mean to flex my Physical Therapy nuts, but a torn muscle (even if it is very small) takes from 2-6 months to heal, and we know that he isn't going to let it fully heal. Makes me worry, but at the same time I don't want to go without him, it's kind of a 'Catch 22'. We'll just have to wait and see how it all goes and hope for the best, it should be an awesome season!!
