Methinks Madonna is proof of zombieslayer's dictum that a good photographer can make anyone look good. I've seen a number of pictures where she's dressed up really nice; and others, not just at her now-middle-aged-ness, where she looked well below average.

Heather and Halle, though: I don't think they need photographic assistance.

By the way, I think Madonna is 53. (IIRC either her or Prince was born the same year as me. Or maybe it was Bill Gates.)

Make-up, lighting tricks, heck even now they got the Photoshop program where you can edit the pics. Makes it took easy for the photographer.

Of course, I never grew up with the negative stigma that most D&D players did because one of the groups that I campaigned in was the oddest bunch you'd ever see. We were like the Breakfast Club. Yes, we even had our HS football team's starting HB in our group.
