The Katy Perry pics are perfect examples of what I've been saying all along. I can take a very average girl and make them look hot with photography + make-up.

I'm sure if Perry walked down the street, I'd think she was rather plain, especially for Santa Barbara (where she's from. SB used to be the land of hot babes up until the 2000s).

The average actress/model/celebrity is actually quite boringly plain from a physical perspective. It's all photography and make-up.

Training. It's obvious Katy Perry has either had model training or spent a lot of time looking at herself in the mirror. She puts her lips out. In the candid shot, she had her lips in. Plus, lipstick accentuates the lips and makes them more full.
