I have fears regarding our kicking game, hopefully it will be a non factor for the most part with us being in comfortable leads in most games! ZING!
Is it me or has there been a recent spurt of kickers who have a good season followed by a disastorous one? Nick Folk and Neil Rackers spring immediately to mind.
My main concern is the lack of consistency shown by everyone involved, be it Slocum, Crosby, McCarthy whomsoever.
The margin for error when kicking for a field goal is, in my opinion, the smallest in any facet of the game. Quarterbacks get four downs, and the option to throw the ball away. The kicker must hit the target, all the time. I don't doubt Crosby's talent, I do however think that the Pack' are not giving him the necessary equipment to play to the best of his ability.
