Anyone download and try the madden 11 demo?

My impressions:
+'s
Nice presentation
Better running game than last year
Gameflow is kind of cool but I see myself ignoring it after a couple games

-'s
Before snap commands in submenus on the d-pad are horrendous. (Maybe there is an option for classic controls)
Graphics are hit and miss. I laughed at the way Peyton manning looked coming off the bus. He looked like a sasquatch (sp?).

Overall, I am on the fence if this is a buy for me or whether I will continue to just play madden 10

eh, your negatives are ticky tacky. How players look getting off a bus doesn't matter one bit to me.

Also, the dpad strategy thing is just new. Nobody will be mentioning this in 2 months once you master it(which I already did. Yeah I know im special.)

The gameplay is the big thing for me and I don't know how I feel about the changes. Things seem a little cartoony.

Gameflow sucks and I'm glad you can turn it off. Nobody calls plays but me. ME!

I already pre-ordered it months ago so I'll probably get it. Online team play is what I look forward to this year since they fixed it. And owning noobs online as well. My record is like 180-110, so im plus 500 which is nice.

Well, I am one of those guys that perpetuates the Madden cycle by purchasing 11.

I still really dislike the strategy pad but I will give it time. I predict it will be gone next year. If they want to get rid of the alleged nano-blitz problem than improve the blocking.

The running game is great.
I thought it was really cool that the packers playbook includes the psycho package and the 2-4-5. I have already used the psycho a few times to blitz as well as back off my LBs for mid field coverage.

I agree that gameflow is terrible and really feels no different than ask madden. I guess they have a gameplanning option where you can rate each play so that plays you like get called more in situations but it looked like it would take a while to set up. Conventional game-calling for me please.

beast (32m) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (33m) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (34m) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (4h) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (5h) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (5h) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (7h) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (7h) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (7h) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (9h) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (11h) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (17h) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (18h) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (18h) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (18h) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (18h) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (18h) : Game not over yet
beast (19h) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (19h) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (19h) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (19h) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (20h) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21h) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21h) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21h) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21h) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21h) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21h) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Bears are finalizing a deal to hire Ben Johnson as their head coach. (via @tompelissero )
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : Looks like Lions OC Ben Johnson is going to be the Bears coach
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : TD but another failed 2 pt conversion!
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : Ravens still alive, but barely
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : Or not...BUT THAT CATCH BY NACUA
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : WE MAY HAVE BEEN PREMATURE KANATA
TheKanataThrilla (19-Jan) : Time to make dinner
TheKanataThrilla (19-Jan) : Ouch!!!! Dagger for the Eagles
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : DAGGER
TheKanataThrilla (19-Jan) : pass plays
TheKanataThrilla (19-Jan) : Seems some of their passes are too deep. Reminds me of MLF as well.
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : Oren Burks with a clutch pass break up...I will now light myself on fire
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : a run on 2nd down and 17 from McVay? So that's where MLF gets it from!
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : Do or die time for the Rams
TheKanataThrilla (19-Jan) : Kicking field goals are impressive
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : Oh that might be a backbreaker
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : That's what I thought too, just wasn't sure
TheKanataThrilla (19-Jan) : Kicking doesn't make much sense
