With a disease like that, that affects almost every family, it makes it easy for us to empathize with others. We all have had family/friends battle it at some time.
Julie is a good woman to have on your side when you are battling sickness.

wow - thanks for all the kind words everyone. i've taken those words of strength & put the tears away. whatever she has, i know she needs me to be strong & i can do it. i was the strong one when my dad was dying so i know we can get thru it together. you guys have no idea how much simply being able to vent/discuss/share thoughts & feelings means to me. y'all are terrific!!

Sorry to hear this news. I hate cancer too. It took my Dad. 3 years ago next month. :crybaby: :xcensoredx:

quick update on libby:

she had the bone marrow biopsy this past friday. she said it wasn't as bad as she thought it'd be but it was still pretty damn awful! should have the results this coming week.
she & her girlfriend are expecting a baby in 12 weeks. yes she's gay. please keep them all in your prayers.

update #2: libby's fine!! well at least it's not leukemia or lymphoma. they haven't figured out what's going on but we know it's not either of those!! now she's looking forward to the baby arriving & feeling better. thanks to all of you for your prayers/thoughts!! hugs to y'all!!!!!!
