We have talent but we are just so young. My fear is once these young talents hit their peak they'll leave Green Bay because Ted thinks he can draft someone as good. He usually always signs the super stars no matter what... but a team isn't made of a few guys.

I think Ted Thompson has shown he likes to keep our own FAs if at all possible. It's hard to keep every one in this day and age with the cap. That's good though becaused if there is not cap Jones, Schneider, et al would buy chamionships just like the Yankees. Expertise in management, plalyer evaluation and coaching become less important becaused you can keep buying players. IMO that's why football is in much better shape than the NBA and MLB. It is a level playing field and teams are rewarded by doing a good job top to bottom. Also it gives all teams an equal opportunity to build which maintains more fan interest.
