I think your kind of comparing apples and oranges... I mean Wilson is playing 4-3 RDE and lining up further out side which help gives you a cleaner rush if your quicker and faster than the guy your playing. Neal is playing 4-3 DT/NT got doubled teams more.

The Packers aren't going to ask them to play those positions.

They're going to play 3-4 DE (which should be called 3-4 DT IMO)

But Neal is the better player IMO but Wilson look very good in that highlight where they just can't handle him.

wilson is a 3-4 DE hes got the build 6'3 290 hes strong and fast i like him he just looks better on tape then neal, neal can take up blocks good which is prob why they took him in the 2nd round but they saw Potential in Wilson for his explosiveness thats why i think they took him.He will make the team i see wilson as a jem in this draft 🙂

I know Wilson is a 3-4 DE... but on that tape you showed. He's playing 4-3 DE. While Neal is playing 4-3 DT. I lot of 4-3 DE look better on tape than DT just because it's a "sexier" position.

Basically what I'm saying I think your judging them based on there position in their old system... of course a 4-3 DE who is quicker than the OT is going to look good in college. Vernon Gholston is a great example...

But they got to be physical and athletic which they both can be... but Neal is more so...

i get wat ur saying,he actually looks like the next Cullen Jenkins he could be a good pass rusher in nickel situations,i think hes better than jarius wynn thoe i think he could back up jolly or jenkins

Neal dominated at times in college. I mean seriously took over possessions. Then the next possession he wasn't a factor. If you can get his motor going at all times, Neal is the better player. There is reason he went five rounds ahead of Wilson. Wilson has all the attributes to be a 3-4 end. He might need more strength if he wants to anchor, but he has an excellent frame and a good motor. In terms of talent though, Neal wins out. He might be one of the strongest players on the team now.

i think they drafted wilson cause of his potential and impressive combine.
I think wilson can become a good player even better than neal
yes neal can be looked at a better fit for a 3-4 i agree with that but wilson could be a jem in this draft.I see him rotating with jenkins and neal rotating with pickett and jolly.Wilson and jenkins are pass rushers so i see them using them well in packages.Overall Neal is a better fit but i think wilson will be a better player but who knows it could be the other way around and wilson doesnt make the team at all.

I dont know if this means much with Strength and all but at the combine wilson had 32 benchpresses and neal had 31 so they could be both about the same strength but then again players show there strength on the field not in the weight room.

They're both pass rushers... and I doubt the coaches are only going to play them on one side...

Again Wilson is playing a pass rushing position (4-3 RDE) in that video that's why he's focused more on pass rush...

Neal was asked to do more than just pass rush at his (4-3 DT) position in his video...

Neal didn't get to play in rotation. I read he was always on the field for every D snap and some ST. The knock on him was he would wear down, not that he wouldn't play hard every snap. He would probably be better in rotation where he wouldn't get so gassed.

Wilson does look like Cullen Jr. Quick, high energy, relentless and athletic. But it would be like comparing Jolly and Jenkins to say who is a better player. Specially if Jolly played every snap.

The answer is, Yes.

beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.

beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
