Maybe these MILFs just wanted to teach Brandon how to play chess in his room? I remember plenty of nights when I snagged some box at the bar and went back to my place and had memorable conversations until four in the morning, cause that's just normal nightlife behavior.

This whole blown out of proportion saga smells of of a couple gold digging whenches picking out a young naive football player. Brandon join Jolly on the dumbass wagon.

Unfortunately one person kind of put himself in a situation that kind of dampened this weekend a little bit. It is unfortunate, theres no doubt about it. But everybody showed up today, trying to move forward, trying to put that behind us and wipe our hands clean.

Its unfortunate that youre portrayed in a negative way. Its unfortunate, a little aggravating. But we need to move forward and thats what we did today.

That does NOT sound to me like team mates are going out of their way to show support or rally around Underwood. Doesn't sound like the people who know him best are real fond of him.

Never having been involved in a threesome, I have a hard time imagining how (absent a gun or some such) it could be non-consensual for two of the three.

Please, more experienced sorts, explain this to me. I'm feeling especially dimwitted this morning.

This. What's also funny is the women were ages 31 and 33 while Underwood is only 23. What? How can a 23 year old commit sexual assault against two women who are both older than him, at the same time?

Can a rich man ever feel safe having consensual sex with an unknown woman again? heheh.

that thing is funny - and in regards to getting them to sign it - if people can sign pre-nups they can sign this 😉 ... although I can see how it might be a bit more challenging with one night stands etc like what underwood may or may not have done ...

and ya back to underwood - that guy is so skinny he wouldnt even have the strength to over power 1 woman let alone 2.

Joe Whitt's comments were reflective of him as a football player, or as a person? It's a rather vague comment in a brief article essentially talking down Underwood.

"all_about_da_packers" wrote:

I think it's hard to say they weren't about off-field issues - that is to say Whitt's comments were somewhat intended at Underwood as a person.

This incident, although unfortunate, should not be a major surprise. Coming out in the draft, in the draft rankings compiled by McGinn based on talking to many scouts, he (McGinn) had Underwood as a top-100 prospect. Remember: we got Underwood in the 6th round; there is a disparity between where Underwood's talent should have gotten him drafted and where he fell to us at.

What became evident was that many scouts questioned Underwood as a person, not his football talent; his behaviour and conduct off the field.

Frankly, unless Underwood shows he is leaps and bounds above Bush / Bell, I'd say cut ties with him. This type of behaviour may very well keep teams away from him, and if the team likes Underwood's potential then they may have a chance to resign him to the PS and give him another year to mature.

I'm just not throwing the guy out the window at this point. Not on such questionable allegations. I'm not entirely concerned about what he did when he was younger than he already is. Although, I keep hearing negatives about him, but nothing too specific. If I had to guess he's probably just been the type of kid who didn't work hard, and survived on god given talent. It makes people dislike you as a person, and as a player. But I remember a very special person having a, somewhat, similar attitude...A certain defensive MVP. Maybe not quite as poor of a track record, but at one time having a very like-minded approach in his NFL career.

If Underwood turns out to be a creep, I'll eat every word I've said about the guy. But I'm in total disbelief of this right now.

I get your point, Tengojuego. More recently, I'd say that Jermichael Finley could be described the same way.

At the very bare minimum, he cheated on his wife.

Are the Packers suppose to condone that? Is that the type of image the Packers want?

It's ok that he cheated on his wife, because at least he didn't rape people! Lesser of two evils, perhaps?

He was immature coming out of college. He hasn't endeared himself towards other teammates. He's still making poor decisions now.

Cut his ass, I say. Don't need nor want that headache.

Not the first Packer to do it. Won't be the last. It's the NFL, dude...lol.

So is this the thread where people make definitive stances on something where all the facts aren't available?

I guess so.

You've missed my point, trom.

It's not the fact that he's innocent or guilty of rape. The fact that he's set himself up in such a situation, given his past history, shows he has yet to mature in his decision making. It's the same reason Roethlisberger is suspended even though he's not yet found innocent or guilty. Personal conduct policy. You can't tell me he's been a model citizen in that regard.
