Face it. The Green Bay Packers are the most storied and historically great team in the National Football League.
Their Fandom is legendary, the wait list for season tickets, the small town appeal, the game day experience, the Packer Hall Of Fame in the venue. The green and gold that is entrenched in every bar, restaurant, motel, hotel, fast food joint, every corner store, every home basement, every child's lunch box from the past makes Green bay special and unique.
BUT... I have to tell you.
"GO PACK GO" Is weak as a fan chant on game day. It does not do the Packer fans justice.
When I took the tour, the guide got us all to chant "GO PACK GO." in an empty Lambeau Field even there were only 29 of us in the tour. That was the weakest, and most uncomfortable moment of the tour.
Make me director of Game Day Experience. I would make it special. make a blast, make it something that every in-coming team would cringe at. There is no reason that Lambeau could not be that place.
I would love to see the Packer Faith full break into a chant like this... This is true fan support and love.
In my humble opinion... The Weak "Go Pack Go" Chant is not near where the Packer Game Day Experience Could Be with coaching from the team on how to motivate the players on the field.
Lambeau really could be a special and unique experience beyond what it already is with some thing special, beyond "GO PACK GO."
