This list ought to spark some discussions....

1. I'd put Riggins lower, though perhaps in top 10.
2. Applause for getting some of the old timers in there.
3. I can't believe Leroy Kelly isn't on the list.
4. Okoye. Sorry, no. Liked him a lot. But he isn't in "top 10 league."
and
5. Alstott is, IMO, an effin' joke. Okoye might be close. But I'm not sure I'd put Alstott in the top 25. Heck, I can think of an ex-Viking I'd put above him.

Now that that's out of the way, why is Riggins ahead of Earl Campbell? Yes, I saw Riggins in that Super Bowl where nobody can tackle him. But that was Earl Campbell every single freaking game.

Oh, and Campbell went out of his way to punish people. I never saw anyone else do that.

I kind of want to put Payton in this too. He was a finesse runner mainly but he did the power back thing as well when he had to. Deserves to at least be in the top 10.
