He was REALLY off last year, for sure.
What i'd like to see for comparison, how many kickers had most of their kicks in a dome, or in great weather. I can see how a kicker in Florida or California or Arizona probably would have a better percentage.
But i never see those conditions, or the distance of the kicks attempted figured in. Are these high percentage kickers doing it from inside 30 yards? Are their offenses unable to punch it into the endzone regularly, thus giving alot of "chip shot" FG attempts?
Yes, i don't diassagree that he hasn't been great. But i wish they would factor in all aspects.
