if the Vikings make it to the Super Bowl. And yes I believe now, after seeing Aaron Rodgers play that the Packers made the right move to let Favre go. I also am of the attitude that it doesn't really matter and that he's just a player and not bigger than the game etc...

BUT lets be honest with ourselves here. We would HATE to see Favre in a Super Bowl with another team. It's similar to the girlfriend that you broke up with and it was the right thing to do and you that but now she is with someone else and it still eats at you.

That's how tonight's game feels to me. I'm assuming most of you can at least admit it.

That being said GO NEW ORLEANS!!!

Why the hell is this in the Packers section?

And talk about overdramatizing the situation. It sure won't be a "day of infamy" for this Packers fan. He plays for another team. I couldn't care less what happens. I'm rooting against the Vikings because they're the Vikings, not because of who is playing quarterback for them.

Wow NonStop your anger is palpable even over the internet. I like it. That's the passion I'm talking about. How can you not have ANY feeling whatsoever, as a life long Packer fa, for the quarterback that you followed, cheered, lived and died with for well over 15 years. For me its not just a game its personal and I think most Pack fans feel the same way but try to block it out as much as possible.

We will see if Brent throws a bunch of pickles today. I think what will piss me off is that our previous QB had no consistency in the playoffs since 1997. Our last shot at the Superbowl ended with an int in overtime followed by a field goal by the Giants. Now all of the sudden he shows discipline in every game?

I could keep the ex girlfriend analogy going but i think you get the idea.

He's not angry. This is in the wrong section. He is tired of having this generalization foisted upon him.

Some of us don't care, and trust me, non don't care more than anyone here.

It is this very mis-perception that evokes whatever anger you might perceive. It is a "day of infamy" for MANY fans, just not that one...

I think I have that pretty close to how non might respond.

I only care about what directly effects the Packers. A Vikings loss at this point does not help the Packers, therefor it doesn't really matter to me who wins the NFC Championship. I won't be rooting for either team. Just hoping for a great game.

Yeah....there might be one or two out there.
But i doubt there are more then that. Want to see "him" lose? Lots of people. Rather see him DEAD then win?
I think that's over dramatizing it......ALOT.
