During last years contest, LeBron James announced that he would compete in this year's contest. Now, he has changed his mind and will not compete. That sucks. I was actually going to watch this year for a change.

So who will be participating?

Gerald Wallace? Shannon Brown?

Who the hell are these guys you ask? Exactly.

This would be like having Willie Harris, Gary Matthews, and Ryan Sweeney compete in the MLB Homerun Derby.

Just another reason why the NBA blows.

Those guys are the guys that are talented when it comes to dunking, but can't play a lick of organized basketball.

Just like Gerald Green (I believe his name was). He played for the T-Wolves a few years back and he was extremely gifted as a player.. but didn't have any clue how to play the game as a TEAM.

Probably like the list of guys you mentioned.

No, the list I mentioned were MLB players no one has ever heard of, just like the participants in the last several years of the dunk contest.

I don't care if Gerald Wallace has talent. I want to see the ALL STARS compete in the Dunk Contest. It IS ALL STAR weekend after all....

Whatever, I am mainly pissed off at LeBron. What the hell is he afraid of? What a vagina he is.

Gerald Wallace should make the all-star team this season. And Shannon Brown can get up. But I am disappointed that Lebron isn't competing but its whatever. Considering it will be Browns and Derozan or Gordons first time participating it shouldn't be that good of a contest. Hopefully they prove me wrong.

The Nba is garbage imo, because all the stars get the calls. Kobe can double dribble, lebron and walk etc. Its stupid.

I would like to see a Kobe vs James contest but both are scared they would be beat by some unknown guy.

I remember the days of Niq vs Jordon now those were the good slam dunk contests.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be šŸ™‚ (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Best dunkers in the league.

Seriously, you can't say you know anything about basketball without knowing Gerald Wallace. He's a very good player, though not All-Star level. He can make a dunk contest more interesting than LeBron would IMO.

Dunk contest isn't a joke because of it's contestants but because you have an unlimited number of chances to succeed.
