Think about this we almost beat the totally healthy cards with two great defensive players out, is that a fair game now?

They didn't have Boldin. It was fair. Even if we were decimated by injuries (which I don't think we were), it's wouldn't be unfair, injuries are a part of the game.

Fair or unfair, no matter how you argue it, that game is still a loss. Wether you blame the defense or the refs, we still came up short and thats all that matters at the end of the day.
To say that all our injuries made the game unfair is not true. If that were the case, pretty much every game was unfair. Every team faces them, and has to play who they have and thats the most you can ask for.

The game could have been a lot more "fair" if the defense bothered to do any of the things that made them so good during the regular season. Y'know, stuff like tackling. Or getting to the quarterback.

the only thing which wasn't fair was ME having to watch our #2 ranked defense suck god's balls for the duration of the game.

Our defense should be ashamed of themselves. They were beat to death out there.
It showed just how weak we are against a good offense.
LOTS of work to be done if we want to compete next year.

Let's face it. Neither D showed up that game. It was an all out areal attack. It was fun to watch. Until the last play that is.
