If the line is under 3 for the home team Vegas has no faith.

generally like yooperfan said the home team gets the -3 while the away team gets the +3 ...

then they work out the odds more from there ...

The books are in a tough spot here. Their objective is to get 50% money on both sides so they are going low to get money on the Cards.

I wouldn't doubt that this line goes lower for fear big money late on the Pack will break their backs.

Inspiration for a team riding the peak of their performance. Sorry Kurt Warner...you's going to take a beating!

Dang. Almost tempted to take a few days off and fly to Vegas and have the oddsmakers pay for the trip (including flight, hotel, food, and strippers).

I'm glad the Packers are not favored. I thought they might be. But I'm sure that regardless of the line, whichever team wins will say, "Nobody gave us a chance."

This is the toughest game to pick; the winner could go all the way. Look for quarterbacks Kurt Warner and Aaron Rodgers to take turns making monumental plays; in the end the Cardinals' defensive playmakers will make a pivotal stand.

The Cardinals defense is better at home, but Green Bay is close to being the best offensive team in the NFC right now. And the Cardinals' offensive line won't be able to keep an aggressive Packers front away from Kurt Warner.

This is probably the most even matchup the playoffs have to offer. Both teams have explosive passing offenses with running games that have gotten better as the season has progressed. Both teams also sport a hybrid 3-4 defense with good secondaries.

There are two key offensive players in this game however, one on each team:

Jermichael Finley
The Cardinals don't have an answer to him. They also don't have an equivalent to him on their offense. If we can get Finley the ball in the game we'll have a huge advantage and give their defense fits. Not only is he a mismatch against anyone covering him but his presence on the field will force their defense to adjust.

Steve Breaston
With Charles Woodson on Fitzgerald and Tramon Williams on Boldin, Bush is left to take on Breaston. Breaston is a highly underrated pass catcher and if he gets his shots will torture our defense all day long. The hard part will be picking where to shade our safeties--if the Cardinals run a lot of 3 WR sets we'll always have a 1-on-1 matchup.

I say, if Boldin is too hurt to be effective, we put woodson on Breaston to shut his ass OUT and double team Fitzgerald on every play. Woodson is great but only guy i'll take in the history of the game one on one in a must win game vs a guy like Fitz is Deion. If we do that, stay disciplined on D and play our normal game on offense, we win.
