Woodson comes out as soon as he has two INTs and/or fumbles recovered/caused.

I.e., with 7 minutes left in the first quarter. 🙂

Exactly. And we have to get Driver another 4 yards to have another 1000 yard season and get Jennings another 16 for an 1100 yard one.

I got a feeling both D coordinators are going to be gunning for the Qb's, If thats the case and Rodgers takes a few shots I have no problem taking a loss to protect him while they leave Warner open for sacks, especially with his age/history.

I have heard that discussed elsewhere, and it cannot be completely dismissed as a possibility, including the idea that someone might "cheapshot" the opposing team's QB...a much higher probability of that would appear to be in a game where the respective teams are getting ready to play one another for some serious stakes in this "back-to-back" scenario.

One would hope that neither team would be so inclined, plus there is the possibility of retaliation...

So, in the event that Warner gets nailed into the ground, take Rodgers out and put Flynn in the next series.

For people wondering why play your starters to me it always seems to do more harm then good. More times then not it seems when a team takes a week to back off they're one and done. Just look a few years ago when the Giants and Pats went all out in the last regular season game. Didn't seem to bother them but help if anything

I just can't get interested in this game. It needs to be over already. McCarthy is giving us the usual coachspeak about how they will prepare as usual, blah, blah, blah, but I suspect that there will be an unusually large number of inactives, including some prominent players, and he will be pulling starters in the second quarter. This will be less meaningful than a preseason game.

I'm not sure if this is the best approach, but I honestly don't care that much what McCarthy does. NFL teams have been tanking these late-season games for decades, but fans and sports writers continue to act like it's never happened before. I'd like to see a study indicating whether or not this approach has been effective, but I don't think anyone has bothered to do one yet.

Packers have one 14 of the last 15 season finales, so maybe some teams tank them, but not the Packers.

Our critical starters should play for 2 -3 drives. Given the # of sacks that Rodgers have, I would consider sitting him, Clifton and Tausch after the 1st drive. There are 3 reasons to bench our main starters early.

1. To minimize gametape if we have to face the cardinals the following week (No psycho package or equivalent exotic formations this Sunday).
2. The most obvious, to prevent injury.
3. Give our backups a chance to get some experience.

1 TD or 1 quarter for Rodgers, whichever comes first.
