Interview with the winner, dhazer:

After all these games, after all the drafting, after all the postseason, you won it all. How does this feel?

I feel relieved because at the end i was doing some trash talking, and if i would've lost i would have gotten it back twice as bad. But i was very pleased with how good i did with the strategy of not going after big stars but getting alot of above average players.

Your opponent, the Amsterdam Admirals, how do you think they played?

He surprised me because when i looked Sunday night i thought i had it wrapped up and then i see Tuesday morning that he tied me. But you have to give him congrats on making it this far by taking out the higher seeds.

One might say this champion should be split between you and the Amsterdam Admirals, what do you say to that?

Why should we split because as he said about me, ill say back and say he got lucky to tie me, If i'm home to set my lineup i play Maclin instead of TJ and we wouldn't be having this question. Plus i think i have earned it i played 9 of the top 11 seeded teams during the year and i only lost once, That should say something.

Which player is your Championship MVP and why?

I can't see the stats right now but i know Mcnabb had a solid game so i would probably say him, Ray Rice would be up there also because i didn't expect much from him going against the Steeler defense.

Which player has been your season's MVP and why?

Thats a very easy one it has to be Ray Rice, during the draft people were taking Willis and the fullback his name slips my mind, but i heard rumors they were starting Rice so i grabbed him, I did the same thing with Mendenhall and both players helped me alot.

Which player has been your season's MWS (Most Worthless Starter) and why?

I say it has to be the fantasy bust in TJ Whosyourmomma, I expected big things from him and didn't get shit.

Which game do you think you won that really showed you belonged as the elite of the league?

I would have to say 2 of them and thats the last 2 weeks when i had to play Porky and the following week I had to play the other top team and i won both of those. Its hard doing this when i can't look at the website :P

Do you think you can repeat next year?

I think i have a good shot specially if the rule changes come out where we draft less players and we use the waiver wire more (wgich is my strength).

Where is the trophy going to go?

I'll be nice and put it in my siggy ;)

Anyone you'd like to thank?

I want to thank Dfoster for talking shit which made me stay active (even though i would never drop from a league i joined) And you Ninja you did a great job running this after the draft lol.

Thanks Mr. PackersHome Champion! Any final notes?

Yes i need someone from my division to swith with Dfoster so i can whoop his ass next year. LTF do me a favor man and trade with him lol

And i'n closing i want to say to remember to smile everyday it makes the world a better place 😃 Happy New Year to All be safe

Interview with the looser, Rockmolder:

This was one of the more interesting Championship, how do you feel right now?

Hungry, mainly.

How long do you think it will be until you can get over this one?

I reckon that it won't take too long. I won the NFL Draft Pick Challenge earlier this year and am still in the running for the Yahoo PackersHome Picks Challege. You can't win everything.

The score ended 71-71, a tie, and the tie breaker given to the Ted Thompson DESTROYERS, what do you think about this? Is this fair? Should there be a rule change?

I don't like it when it comes down to luck. We where tied in this match. I outscored him by something like 100 points this season. That's what it's all about in Fantasy Football. To lose, in essence, because of strength of schedule is a gut wrencher.

What did you think of your opponent?

What can I say? He was one of the most active guys in FA. He nearly went undefeated, he won the championship and has been a real gentleman. Props to him.

What did you think of your team this year?

It was decent. Peterson had a very unlikely collapse. Tony G was good, but had a slight drop-off, TO stunk it up. Ginn was my break out candidate. He obviously didn't break out.

Nice surprises on the year where Carson Palmer and Ricky Williams. Especially Williams put up some crazy points from time to time. If only he didn't get injured in the championship game....

Who is your MVP for the PackersHome Championship game? Why?

My MVP must be Peterson. He did fumble the ball away at the end, which cost me some points, but he's the reason I got back into that game. A close second is David Akers, who has been very solid for me all year and came up big in the championship game.

As for the entire game, and not just my team, I think that it's Donovan McNabb. He came up with one of the biggest scores of the season for him.

Who was your season's MVP? Why?

That has to be David Akers. When you can get 10 points out of your kicker week after week, that's a big boost for the entire team. He was the best fantasy kicker in the league this year. Close seconds are the Eagles Defense, who also became the highest scoring defense, Ricky Williams, who was 6th on the position rankings while not being seen as much more than a handcuff back and, of course, AP.

Who was your season's MWS (Most Worthless Starter)? Why?

Terrell Owens. Whenever you spent a high pick on a TD machine and he just gets you 4 TDs on the season, he's a bust. He only managed to get to the 28th spot on the receivers rankings.

You got in as a 6th seed, how surprised are you that you got this far?

I suffered pretty badly in the seedings because of playing in a strong division and having a strong schedule overall. I knew that, if I came in, I could turn some heads with this team. My players had a lot of favorable match-ups, as well, once I hit the play-offs. That always helps.

When do you think you can start looking at next year?

After FA and the Draft. The draft might just be my favorite part of football. All my football-time will be spent looking at the draft after the season.

Thanks for your time! Any last words?

Why, yes, a bulletproof vest.

What kind of football game ends 83-82? Smurfs vs. SonOfSmurfs?

Did either team have a tackle?

Signed,
Still curious about the attractions of this fantasy football thing.*

p.s. congratulations to the winners.

Great interview Rock but this part through me off, If you look you scored 1099 points i scored 1087 thats pretty close and if they didn't pull Rice out of 2 games at the half i would have outscored you. Now the strength of schedule comment. Did you look at my schedule the teams i played were 1 game over 500 and your schedule was 10 games under 500. Our divisions both sent 3 teams to the final 8. I played 9 of the top 11 seeds in the playoffs. I will admit i took alot of chances in the draft and i pulled a Ted Thompson and shit out on some of them.

Like i said it was a great interview but that part bugged me because it wasn't true. I will do mine probably tomorrow at work.
