Does anyone have a list of how much franchise and transition tags for 2010 are going to be? I believe every team will have one franchise and two transition tags to use on players scheduled to become free agents after this season.
Looking at our group of veteran UFAs next year, the only players who are possibly worth using those tags on are Pickett and Kampman imo. Kampman though would obviously be a gamble because that would be a lot of money to sink into a guy who doesn't necessarily fit the current scheme and is coming off a torn ACL. I could easily see the team just letting him walk or trying to re-sign him to a lower one-year contract. A 30 year-old DE with a bum knee probably isn't going to be able to command a long-term contract in free agency.
