In the last two years.... I do not think one single play has bothered me, haunted me, woke me up in the middle of the night, and lingered for over 24 hours in my mind like a festering stench.

Until this week.

Perhaps it is he has become one of my favorite players in the NFL. Perhaps it is because he was a walk on in college. Perhaps it is because I really want him to be the best of the 2009 class.

Tonight, am looking forward to Monday Night Football. Naturally as a CM3 fan I checked out Orakpo's numbers.

Orakpo has 45 Tackles. 11 Sacks. 0 TD's and 1 Forced Fumble.

Clay has.... 47 Tackles. 10 Sacks. 1 TD and 1 Forced Fumlble.

Heretofore... I am still pissed that Mathews was robbed of a Sack and Forced Fumble yesterday becuase of a horrible call on instant replay.

I am serious It is still bothering me.

I am so proud of this kid. And he is so huge for me as a fan of the game.

Excellent play by Matthews no matter what. Would have love to see him get the sack, FF and recovery.

Thing is, the overturn was correct (according to the rules). Ben's arm started forward, being stopped by Matthews arm, then the ball came loose.

I'd like to see the camera angle that definitively showed the arm pushing the ball forward. If I put a football in my hand, put my hand on my shoulder and let go of the ball it will move forward and down, just like the ball did in the game... I wasn't convinced by the call.

And I hate it.

This is one of the few plays where I think that the officials should make judgement calls. Every idiot with 2 eyes could see that that was not a pass, but a fumble, but, the rule states otherwise.

It's nearly as bad as that other dreaded rule....

THE TUCK RULE.

To me it was inconclusive. If the ref thinks he could tell he was lying.

Should have stood pat with the fumble call.

God the tuck rule is the worst because it was invented to cover the ass of the refs who fucked up that call in the AFC championship game.

That Tuck Rule Bullshit Original Call Cost My Raiders a 4th Superbowl. And launched Brady's claim to fame.

Thanks for bringing that up.

Now I am going to wake up TWO times in the middle of the night tonight.

No way that should have been overruled. Total BS.

Even Ben said "Wow" when they over ruled the fumble. You could see that he thought it was a fumble.
