It is late in the Philly/Giants game and the Gmen look to be losing. That will give us a decent cushion against them. Dallas has to play Philly and NO besides Washington and could/should lose 2. While there isn't a lock we are pretty much in the playoffs at this point.

What I am looking at, is currently we are #5 and Arizona is #4. Should things stay as is, that would mean we would play Arizona in the WC round. Making week 17 a joke. Neither of our teams is going to be playing hard. Very vanilla schemes on both sides, and a good chance that starters are watching for about 59 minutes.

Yeah I've thought about that as well... but things could change between now and then... like the Cardinals could become the 3rd seed which is liking as they have what looks like a cup cake Schedule (other than the Packers game) for the rest of the year...

While the Eagles have the Broncos and Cowboys who are each fighting to stay in the Playoffs...

Ether way it's the Cardinals or Eagles... both have a very good and talented group of WRs with a vet QB... I would worry about the nickel and dime DBs covering any of those teams....

If Warner is fully healthy, I think I would rather play the Eagles because McNabb doesn't read things as well as a fully healthy Warner...

Well if we got the Eagles you'd have to consider Michael Vick. He's starting to look very good. Getting back up to speed and throwing the ball well.

I want the last win for the momentum in the playoffs. I say we should keep our starters in just as long as the Cardinals. Just don't show everything as to how you would game plan against them. Treat it like preseason. Don't show off everything.

Wow, if this happens, this means we would have played the Cardinals 3 times in 1 season if you include preseason.

The last time the Packers played the same team back to back in week 17, and in the first round of the playoffs, was in 1993, against the Lions.

They Packers won both games. They needed to win the first game to get into the playoffs.

This is actually a really interesting situation.

We could very likely go into the playoffs the both the Wildcard matchups, duplicates of week 17, with Dallas and Philly playing. Those two may really try to play since a win/loss could really change their seating. If that happens, I hope that somehow the NFL makes sure that Dallas and Philly play after us. I don't want to go into that game, with the team being able to look and say, if we lose, we can change who we play.

With Packers playing in Arizona, you know we will be late game, there is no Sunday night game week 17, looks like the only other Fox late game is Washington @ San Diego, I don't know if Fox has the ability to move The philly/dal game to a late start. They probably wouldn't anyway since that looks to be the premier match-up in the early games.

I guess the best you could hope for is them playing at the same time if Fox would move the philly/dal. game to a late start.
