We were paying into it, not sucking out of it.

We are a top ten revenue team.

I would say it hit the Vikes worse than us...Understatement.

I have one thing to say about all that.

IT IS ABOUT TIME...SICK AND TIRED OF SUBSIDIZING THEIR PLAYER RENTALS AND ATTEMPTS TO BUY A CHAMPIONSHIP--WE FANS PAY FOR THAT...IT IS OBSCENE

definition of "revenue sharing" = "you pay for me."

of course that's also the definition of "taxation" and "public funding".

Jerry Jones laid it out very well during the preseason.

It is just wrong for small market teams like Green Bay and Kansas City to be subsidizing the Vikings.

Why should money fans pay for Nachos in Jerry Jones new stadium or money spent on a bratwurst in Green Bay go to a viking absentee owner in New York?

If the vikings can't sell out the Metrodome, how will they sell out a new stadium?

Since teams share the gate it is far better for the Packers if the Vikings move to LA and a 75K capacity stadium than the 64K Metrodome or some billion dollar boondoggle 65k stadium in Minneapolis. 10,000 seats at $75 a seat is $750,000 or $375,000 to the Packers for an away game with the Vikings.

$375,000 a year over 30 years is big to the Packers.

I want reparations for however many years this has gone on. I think Minnesota owes GB money.

Does anybody know where to find official team revenue information? I have heard everything from the Packers being a top 10 team to the #12 team to being a team that loses money. I have searched and have not found anything I would consider official, just lists on blogs and forums (not that those are bad, I just can't verify them :icon_smile: ).

The Packers are the only team that has to release such information, since they're the only publicly owned team. Privately owned corporations have no obligation to make revenue information public. So any numbers we could dig up would be conjecture.
