You won't be dissapointed. It's a great film. It shows you what can happen when people care about people, and look past their skin color.

NOW i see this thread. It must have been buried. I looked for it last night, but couldn't find it.
It is a GREAT film. I and Miss LJ LOVED it. To me, it lived up to the hype it was getting.

Once it gets to the movies (if ever, football is a dead sport here) in Finland, I'll be sure to see it. If not, I'll just buy it once they start to sell it.

Put on 'The Replacements', and the ratings are cut in half.

Anyway, I just got the book today from my sister for 'Sinterklaas'. Can't wait to start reading it, right after I've finished Total Access by Rich Eisen.

Football is only a very small slice of the movie. The majority is about how a selfless family helped someone in need.
I bet that happens, but we never hear about it cause the kid who gets helped doesn't make it to the big leagues.
