Washington is tough at home and plays good D which is going to be a problem for NY. Just ask the Saints. No way the Redskins should have lost that game.

Stats:

With Giants win over Redskins the playoff picture for Packers is very clear.

Packers win 2 and they are in as #5 seed.

Packers go 1-1 and Dallas or Giants lose 1 and Packers are in.

Packers Will be #5 seed if they have same record as Dallas.(with a Giant loss)

Packers will be # 6 seed if they have same record as Giants.(with a Cowboy loss)

The only scenario Packer fans do not want to see is if The Eagles and Cowboys both finish 11-5 and Packers and Giants both finish 10-6, Packers will be elininated.

Here is the ONE SCENARIO The Packers get eliminated.
If Dallas and Philly both finish 11-5 and Packers and Giants both finish10-6, The Giants get the nod.

I have said in other threads, the game Sunday IMHO is more a positve than negative, sure we got beat, and the D gave up a lot of yds. and points, but looking at the positive, AR and the offense proved they could go toe to toe with Pittsburgh, IN PITTSBURGH.

I don't care what The Steelers had done the 5 previous weeks, they are still basically the same team that won the superbowl last year.

Luckily this was not a MUST WIN for The Packers, they still control their own fate, The Giants look like they are turning it on for one final push, but they need help, Packers don't, in the end I fully expect The Cowboys to be the team looking back and saying "what if".

This is what is so great about having yoru team in the play-off hunt!!!
There is mote than 1 game every week to keep an eye on.

Buckeye - As pissed off as I am about Capers right now, I gotta give you credit for your attitude. I'm glad you can see the positives. Yes, Aaron looked fantastic. 3 TDs passing, one rushing. Almost 400 yards and would have easily been over 400 had our receivers caught those drops.

And yes, this was in Pittsburg against the team that won the SB. Whatever their record is, this is the same team that won the SB last year.

I'm somewhere in between you two. I'm pissed at Capers for the poor performance of the defense in general during the whole game. Kinda looked like the earlier games in the year against Minny when we were giving #4 all the time in the world. Thought we learned our lesson there. Guess not. Especially since Harris is out. No disrespect to Bell but I wonder were that #31 man to man if his experience and veteran wiles would have been enough to prevent the TD.

Buckeye, I see the positive in that this wasn't a single elimination game (i.e. playoffs). We still have 2 weeks to make some adjustments to prepare. This Steelers team, while maybe not headed to the playoffs this year, is a playoff caliber team with SB winning talent. A good early test before we start our January run to help make it the most successfull.
