Rory Gallagher, AC/DC, Replacements, Del Fuegos, Tommy Bolin, Rocket from the Crypt, Johnny cash, Miles Davis....shit..too many favorites.

And for those of you who have never heard Rory Gallagher...best to check him out. One of the truly electrifying blues/rock guitar slingers in history. Clapton? A complete hack in comparison. Gallagher was actually tapped to replace Mick Taylor in the Stones, but his singular musical vision would not mesh with the band....and it also cost him the worldwide recognition he most certainly deserved as he would not bow to label pressure to make the sounds THEY wanted. Brian May from Queen attributes his rich tone to Gallagher...who showed the wee lad (at the time) how to get that sound.

Probably gotta add Thorogood as well for keeping that Bo Diddly beat alive all these decades!

I like to listen to: Skillet, some popular stuff like Black Eyed Peas, Jay-Z, Breaking Benjiman, Incubus, Foo Fighters, old school Eminem

Guilty pleasure: Britney Spears, "Larger Than Life" by Backstreet Boys

Don't really have any favorite bands, only favorite songs, but I guess I could go with bands which I'd like, or would've liked, to see or something....

Thin Lizzy, Foo Fighters, Flogging Molly, The Who, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Kiss, AC/DC, Reel Big Fish, Arctic Monkeys, etc. etc.

70's - Zepplin, the Nug, Styx

80's - Preist, Dokken, Crue, Maiden, Rush, Triumph and the rest of the hair metal bands cause girls put out to that.

90's - Alice n Chains, Soundgarden, Nirvana, later the Foo Fighters

Well, this one clearly is impossible.

I'd say the top 15 list probably includes the following somewhere:
Prince
Elvis
Pink Floyd
Weather Report
Grandmaster Flash
Parliament
Dire Straits
Springsteen
The Police/Sting

And that doesn't count all the jazz groups/acts.
