Wasn't he the guy they signed off the practice squad when Jordy Nelson got hurt? Well, he's healthy now. I suppose they'll try to get Jake Allen back on the practice squad again.

The Packers likely will try to re-sign Allen back to the practice squad. They did not announce any move for filling Allen's roster spot. Depending on the status of linebackers Brady Poppinga (quad), Aaron Kampman (concussion) and Brandon Chillar (broken hand), one possibility could be elevating rookie Cyril Obiozor from the practice squad.

We really don't need a 5th WR, baring injury. 4 WR, 3 TEs is more than we can get on the field anyway.

IMO.. with some of the comments coming out this week.. the frustration level with our current punter is rising..field position is ultra important the closer the season comes to a close with the weather becoming more of a factor.... just saying it wouldn't surprise me.

I wouldn't mind another punter. Bring in some competition. Then again, we have a somewhat stable punting situation now. Maybe we should just roll with it for now and draft a punter reasonably high in 2010.

I don't think that we'll see a receiver signed, either, but we might be signing another O-lineman. We saw what happened last week. We actually had Dietrich-Smith playing, with Breno being inactive. I think that they might want to get another guard. Maybe push Colledge a little, as well.
