8 tackles... 1 assisted Tackle... 1 Sack... 2 Forced Fumbles.

That pick on the goal line was a freaking brilliant play.

He just keeps on getting better.

Should be the NFC Defensive Player Of The Week.

Well, I wasn't the one who originally asked this question so props go to someone else.

The question remains - does Woody go into the Hall as a Raider or a Packer?

I'm under the impression he'll go in as a Packer. A Charles Woodson Renaissance as well as having even better seasons (and hopefully a Ring) as a Packer.

In the NFL you don't go in the Hall of Fame as any member of a specific team. You go in as the player with the teams you played for mentioned on your metal plate.

Is there a better corner in the league? Bailey used to be mentioned, and then Asomugha, but are either of those guys as complete of a player as Woodson? He is practically at Winfield's level when it comes to playing the run and making tackles, and he is regarded as one of the better cover corners in the league. On top of all of that, he has a penchant for making game changing plays when they are needed.

I just don't see anyone touching him as a complete CB. Maybe I'm letting homerism affect my judgment, and if so, please let me know.

I was on a long car ride and didn't even want to listen to the game. I was let down by last weeks loss that I didn't have much hope in the game. I figured I'd atleast tune in, and I couldn't even find a station. Hearing Wayne call it I screamed in excitement and pounded the steering wheel.

It's not just homerism. Woody plays the run as well as anyone. You don't see a lot of CBs out there who consistently strip balls away from RBs and receivers the way Woody does too.

There are just too many aspects of his game play. He's possibly the most "complete" CB in the NFL right now.

The way he's playing, he may have another 3 or 4 years left in him. But of course age creeps up fast. I look at the way Jerry Rice or Deion Sanders tapered off and it was an all of a sudden thing.

Zero2Cool, I think you should walk around the house tonight in just Woodson's jersey. Maybe put on some slow music, light some candles, burn some incense, drink a little wine . . .

And what'll we do then? I see Harris retiring or leaving after this season. Maybe we can squeeze one more out of him, but that'll be it. Then we'll have Williams and Woodson on the outside. No bad tandem either. But what if age creeps up rapidly on Woodson? Who on earth will play? And do we even have a guy who's good enough to play some nickel cornerback if Harris is gone?

All future things, though. Woodson was simply amazing yesterday. I've shown how I felt about Jenkins in another thread. The man is on par with Woodson, if you ask me. Like Pack93 said, the rest of the D-line deserves some praise, as well. And Collins. And the linebackers. And most of the secondary. Only Bush, who can't swat a ball away if it hit him in the hands. Even he had some good coverage, though.

Loved the defense.

I want a picture of Rodgers and Woodson shaking hands near the end of the game.

I can't find it anywhere and I want it as my wallpaper.
