Finley said he was ready to go. What the crap? I was hoping to see him back on the field!

Kampman I can understand being held out.

Poppinga, who? :)

Tauscher, not a big surprise.

Let's see how Brad Jones does in the spot of Kampman. I just want to see if the coverage is better with Kampman not standing and maybe DOM CAPERS and actually open his eyes and see that Kampman deserves to be a RE not a ROLB. No clue why Finley is being held out, just guessing a precaution so they don't lose him for the season or something. Oh boy.

Tauscher is wasting a roster spot. Cut his ass and hire him back as a consultant if his experience is so helpful to the younger guys.

I'm surprised that Jones got the start ahead of Jeremy Thompson. Oh how he has fallen.

What's the point of paying a player who can't stay healthy for a single game against arguably the worst team in the league?

His locker room presence. Remember that article about our offense 'clearing the air'? Rodgers and Driver talked, but so did Tauscher, after being back for just 2 weeks or something.

Next to that, like AADP said, he stabilizes that entire line, it seems. He's had a horrible season ending injury. One of the first times he missed multiple games. I see this injury as a result of that.

If he can't stay healthy, release him (and replace him with who?), but I'll give him a free pass on this one. Especially since we obviously need him if we don't want the single QB sack record.

I hope Tauscher only plays as a backup to TJ who locks down the RT spot for the rest of the season (and the next 10 years).

If Lang fails Tauscher may get us through the rest of this season with some respectability but he isn't the long term answer.

Although if Tauscher does recover I suppose he's young enough to have another season in him and if there are no solid OTs available in free agency maybe we should hang onto him.

I am one of Ted Thompson's most dedicated supporters, but if Clifton or Tauscher or both are on this roster next year, I will be forced to reconsider my allegiance.

Clifton's done. Tauscher MIGHT have one more year.
