That is Alan Dawa Dolma. If you boys had paid attention to us wise old owls (that would be Wade and I 😇 ) - you would know her already.

She is Tibetan. She is singing in a cross of Japanese and Chinese in the song I just posted. She also sings in pure Mandarin and Tibetan and is learning English. At the time of this you-tube posting, she was about the most popular singer in all of Asia. If she ever masters English, watch out. It's subtle, but she actually sings in a tone that is unique to her Tibetan homeland, and no one has ever taken it to pop before her.

Look it up. It has to do with her "sing-song" high notes. I find her extraordinarily complelling.

( I guess I should mention that she is singing the theme song for the highest box-office-draw movie ever made, by far--it's just not in Engrish,lol)

Well, considering the video is entirely blocked here in Germany (I can't see so much as a preview frame, and even the title of the video is suppressed), I had no way of knowing who the singer was.[mfing]

The movie is "Red Cliff" It is available with English sub-titles.

Everyone that has seen it that I know calls it -basically- "profound".

It's hard to take your eyes off of her in that video, but if you can, you suddenly realize you are seeing something special, flick-wise.
