I believe this is the week of the defining moment for the Packers that will determine if this team will get on the right track and salvage the year....or not.
We play a decent team that has gotten it's own act together here recently and a team we have not done well against the last few years. We either beat this team and begin a rejuvination that includes gaining their confidence back and showing a resolve that also reflects the ability to play at a level equal to the talent.....or.......

we lose which I feel will make the rest of the season a mirror of what has happened so far and that is to struggle and a level of play below all expectations.

My concern is not so much the defense or the pass protection although we all know they have to get better but whether or not our ST's can turn it around. They have really cost this team dearly the last two weeks.

We need to do what other teams have done to us on ST's and get some big plays for once instead of giving up all the big plays. Our ST's needs to get US beyond the 50 once in awhile and pin the other guys back more often. Every time they do anything there's a penalty wiping it out. They need to stand up and stand out and put our O and D in a winning position and I just don't know if they can pull that off.

If I see one more 85 yard return right after we score to take all the momentum away I'm going to puke.

They better start being something "special" sunday or this season is over.

The thing is. We will win this game. No question about it. The problem is people are going to be asking "Who the hell are the Packers?"

The answer (to me) is, a young, inexperienced team that doesn't know how to be consistent because the coaching staff can't find ways to bring it out of them.

I can't see anything but a loss against the Cowboys. Our weak O-Line couldn't defend against a lowly Bucs front rush... what are the 'boys gonna do to us. McCarthy says the o-line issues are fixeable ( ::roll: ) well if he wants Rodgers to be able to walk after the game he better make good on this. Looks like we won't have Kampman so what little we could get on pressuring QBs will be even less now.

Well, one thing if we do win is we can put a sticky post up showing we beat a relatively good team and will give a younger team like ours a watermark of what it takes to do that.

You know what else bugs me that people rarely bring up? We don't generate any sacks. As a team, we've sacked the opposing QB 13 times total, while allowing 37. That's almost 1/3rd. No, not acceptable.

We have to generate more pressure to win more games.

But Zero we have been pretty much the youngest team since Ted Thompson has gotten his hands on this team. That in itself is the problem i think. I'm tired of the excuse we are the youngest team.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I don't really care about being the youngest team in the league. If that's something that people are going to gripe about, it's obvious their attention to what's important is missing. And that is very misleading. From 1 to 53 we are one of the youngest, but when you total it up from starters age, it's a different story. Also, the Colts have been one of the youngest teams in the NFL and I haven't heard their fans whining about that.

So, I think the youngest team bit needs to get thrown out of the window. It's almost as boring as telling me that grass grows and the sky is blue. Give me something interesting.

We have several holes and issues with this team. My displeasure with our management grabbing veterans is well documented. I don't think I need motivation to rehash that same old beef again when we're in the middle of the season.

There's a difference between an excuse and a fact, dude - you're smarter than this. You're also better than to come in and stick-poke when people are already feeling low - or at least you should be.

He wasn't using the age as an excuse - he was calling out the coaching staff for not being able to deal with it effectively.
