This may or may not influence your buying decisions (most of what we buy is made in Communist China these days anyway), but here's some food for thought: Citgo is a nationally owned company of Venezuela. In a certain metaphorical sense, you could say Hugo Chavez is the CEO of Citgo.

Tesoro. It's American and has good gas. And there is a refinery in Mandan, ND. I'm from ND so I feel like I'm supporting local jobs.
