I believe I've pointed out several areas of issues in depth. And I think we're a AVERAGE offensive line away from being a solid playoff team.

Average OL --- leads to
Improves Running Game, Passing game --- leads to
Longer sustained drives scoring more points --- leads to
Defense on the field less and can be more aggressive --- leads to
Special Teamers not being worn out as much.

Something like that.

I suppose the fact that the Vikings have far better players in key areas is of no consequence...

Cmon guys. You should know it's never simple.

Right now we can all agree that the combination of coaching, management, players and work ethic isn't working. One, or several, of those aspects is causing this team to underperform.

I'm an advocate of breaking down errors by returning to first principles. If the end result isn't right, you start from the beginning and work down. You don't single out an easy target and make a rash decision.

I'm not talking about just the Vikings game. The Packers have led the world in penalties/drops since MM has arrived in Green Bay.

Again, I have no idea how he is supposed to fix the problem. That's HIS job to figure it out. If he doesn't figure it out, he will be replaced. Simple as that. You act as if he has no control over what happens on the field.

Coaches coach, Players play, at some point(IMHO 5 yrs is enough)if it is still the players not having the talent to perform then that has to be the responsibility of the GM.

If they have the talent, but are still underachieving that is a coaching problem.

Time to figure it out, after last year it was determined the defense was being undercoached, changes were made.

The results are mixed this early in the season but IMHO the defense is looking much better, don't forget there will be some growing pains with everyone learning a new system.

I posted before the season that the offense would have to carry the defense early in the season while they got acclamated to the new system.

That has definately not happened, so now what is the answer?

There are not enough guys out there looking for a job that are better than the guys already on the team, no other team is going let go of any lineman who has shown talent(they are just too hard to find).

IMHO MM has these two weeks to figure out and solve the problems, if he decides to stay pat and use the same ole excuses every week, then it is time for him to go.

I don't want to watch as our qb gets pummeled into the ground and ruined like so many before him in the NFL(Tim Couch,David Klingler, David Carr to name a few).

The Packers come out of the bye week and lose to Detroit(if they play like they did against Mnny is a real possibility) I look for Ted to jettison MM in an attempt to save his own ass.

Another sub :500 season and Goodbye TT.

I have said it before, it is great to have a young team full of potential, but at some point a GM must make the moves to bring in personal that will turn a young team full of potential into a team that can win.

5 years is enough, I don't want to see this franchise revert back to what it was in the 70's and 80's.

They have a better o-line, RB, and d-line. Those areas are key, but only part of the equation.

We got out coached, out hustled, and out played.

Bottom line is that fro some reason or another, McCarthy's team never looked fired up for big games. The regular season Cowboys game, the game against the Bears this year, the loss the Giants, the last two losses to the Vikes. That is what really disappoints me. Our team just looks like they're content to run the plays and not do anything extra to get us the W.
