Keep in mind we are running blitz after blitz in pre-season and 1st game of the regular season.

It seems like that tamed down after we got burnt a few times vs the Bengals and now we don't trust it (The blitzes).

It seems like we aren't bringing extra pressure because it isn't effective. I already posted it in the pass rush thread, but through week 3 we were bringing extra pressure 44% of our defensive plays. That was in the top 6 of the league. One word, ineffective.

I think woodson is pissed - he knew that martin blew coverage on 2-3 important plays (at first I thought and many of us thought it was harris that blew the coverage but martin wasnt where he should of been).

Again we were 1 touchdown from perhaps winning this game. Woodson is pointing out the obvious things on the defense since that is where he plays. And the obvious things on defense are the pass rush (or lack of) and the coverage issues especially with that one drive.

I'm glad he made those comments. Time for peeps to step up.

Did you notice that Vikings didn't throw to Woodson hardly at all? Pussies.

And I am sure you guys have read it in other threads. When Al Harris took his mouthpiece out and all of us noticed that. Well what I just noticed maybe someone has already figured this out is that he was yelling at Martin for blown coverage. Stupid Martin was sitting in the middle when he was suppose to be deep helping Al Harris. Talk about lack of talent on the backups. I think that if Martin is a backup we could have used Smith as a backup? No one said we were going to start him and reason we are upset about his cut is because we knew that there would be some injuries and he could have been used better than martin.
