I've noticed that page for many months and as fun as it is to watch all the highlight videos on it, there's just one thing about it that frankly irks me. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve a tribute page, but why is he given preferential treatment? Why is it that Brett Favre has his own link in the navbar for the History page? Why do none of the other amazing Packers greats merit their own link? Reggie White? Bart Starr? Don Hutson? Vince Lombardi? Forrest Gregg? Mike Holmgren? None of them gets the royal treatment. If Favre gets his own link, at the very least Starr, who won more championships than Favre will ever dream of winning, should get one too.
I guess it's all marketing, and people these days have very short memories. I don't think it's a coincidence that Top Ten All-Time Greatest Players lists are usually dominated by players currently in the league. Or that Oprah Winfrey has made the Top Five in Greatest Americans of All Time lists.
All that being said, there are some AMAZING videos there and you can spend hours reliving some of the Packers' greatest moments.
