Five players are not responsible for one player. It's pretty simple. Get a better angle, tackle the punk, punt. Packers ball.

Well, in all fairness (and I was PISSED they got as many yards as they did) the fumble forward for about 10 yards is what got them the 1st down. He doesn't fumble, it's time for them to punt. He fumbles out of bounds, it's time for them to punt. He fumbles and the Packers recover... you get the idea. It was a b.s. lucky as hell play for Cincy.

Found the highlight.

Were in the 2-4 front. Harris was on the WR on the near side. Rouse was Deep safety on the near side. Chillar was the ILB responsible for covering (gets caught up in traffic). Rouse comes in about 15 yards from the LOS (gets blocked), Harris about 20 yards (also being blocked). Then the rest of the mess happens.

Can't blame Rouse anymore than Chillar Since the coverage was his responsibility in the first place or Harris since they all ended up being blocked. Wasn't like Rouse had a free shot and just missed, Cin executed that perfectly. Got the LBer blocked, S blockd and CB blocked. After that it was luck that the ball bounced the way it did.

Hmm so primary fault is on Chillar? (I was really wanting to blame a former Packer, lol)

I am giving less blame. More Credit to the Bengals. They really played that perfect. When watching the lowlight a few time to see everything, they did the job they were suppose to do, more than any Packer really screwing the pooch.

Hate saying it, but that is how you run a screen. Maybe McCarthy can take some notes from that.

Screw it, I'm going to just be ignorant and blame Rouse and if it never happens again I'll say I was right. 🙂 lol

Damnit. I searched NFL.com hastily, couldn't find a video, so I decided to make a youtube vid... Then I come back and find out you found it. :physassult:

Well, anyway, little useless now, but still, the play on youtube. No music or anything, was just for study purposes. Lol.

Okay, that's bullshit. That is on Rouse. Look at his fucking angle? Seriously, WTF!! He gave himself ... omg ... THAT PISSES ME OFF!!

edit, you don't run to the outside forcing the running INTO The middle of the field. he should have cut underneath the blocker forcing the ball carrier to the outside towards the out of bounds line.

ignorantly or not, I'm faulting Rouse mainly for that one.

edit2, Woodson put a lame ass hit on him too. Didn't wrap up at all. If he wraps up, less likely the dude bats the ball towards himself or another player of his uniform.

It looked like Clay Matthews was called on a straight blitz then. You think they would've contained the outside a little bit. Personally if that's the case, Capers made a bad call.

Still no excuse for not containing on 3rd and 34. That play changed the momentum.

Thank you so much for pointing that out! It was a fluke play. Not well-defended, but still a fluke.
