It wasn't just this game but the NFL in general, I just don't get it. I've seen it happen so many times where a team is out of timeouts and they run a play where it involves a throw in the middle of the field. Whats the point?
And if your going to call a play that is down the middle, at least make it 10 yards or something so that you guarantee yourself time to spike it.
It frustrates me so much everytime I see it, its not a "MM thing" or something, its something the whole NFL does.
Why not just take a safe throw where you can still spike it or go for the end zone or whatever. I didn't see what the best case scenerio was there.
This sucks, I feared that beating the Bears at home when Cutler throws 4 INT's but a couple points was not a "great" sign but a win is a win. A loss at home to any team hurts but on the bright side, its the 2nd game of the season and there is still plenty of football to play. Just scary that we could have been 0-2.
Lets go Steelers!
