I have the one you're talking about. I think they were talking about losing two games in a row and some mention of signing Andre Rison.

Thanks for posting these, I've just watched the 1996 one (albeit with the thin at receiver/Rison bit missing).

Just brilliant television.

These films secure a player's legacy in the mind of fans.

This I thought while watching:

a) Desmond Howard seems a delightfully nice chap.

b) I WISH we had a return man of his calibre on the team right now.

c) If Favre doesnt win another Superbowl eventually he'll be treasured as a Packer great.

d) I love the idea of watching one of these with Jennings and Rodgers telling the story.

Man, if you havn't seen this video yet, its awesome. From the trick or treat Punk'd on Holmgrom, 13-3 and most games won by 25 points ever, its awesome.

Lol, Holmgrom - "Reggie White said he would go to the team that God told him to, so I called him and left a message that said "this is God, sign with the Packers" and I hung up". Hahaha.

It is not even close, this 2009 Vikings cannot touch the 1996 Packers boys!

Favre, 39 TD's, 13 Int's, some of the throws he made back then are just unreal. Him in his prime is so sweet to watch. Plus the whole Holmgrom/Favre dynamic is really cool to watch. Good coverage of Desmond Howard's season too - best kick returner season ever!

So many things I forgot about that season too how Brooks, Freeman and Chumera were lost at the same time to injuries. That should prove that injuries are not an excuse.

But this video makes me so happy, the next Super Bowl is going to be so sweet, I was only in high school when 1996 happened.

I was watching this for a bit too, until the usual reasons forced me to stop. The 09 Queens couldn't even sniff the 96 Packers jock straps. What I liked about that team is no matter what AFC team they would have played in the Super Bowl, they would have still won. They were THAT much above every other team in the league that season.
