Harris played a good game.. but waving that finger at the end was a little over the top for my tastes.. at least in the middle of the field.

Cmon, he sealed the game, he has the right to a little celebrating. If there had been players near him, that would've been wrong though, leaving the ball unprotected like that.

I think, in his old age, he must have been having some senile flashback to January 4, 2004.... poor old guy.

I don't know how anybody can not like Al Harris. Yeah, he sometimes psyches himself up to the point too much where he makes some errors (2007 championship game cover Plaxico and 2007 game against Dallas covering Owens), but the man is a warrior. Last year, when he injured his spleen, he wanted doctors to cut out his spleen that day so he could play the next week. The very thought of every playing again after an injury like that makes me squeamish.

As far as him holding up that finger at the end of the game - it was awesome. That play sealed the game and firmly put the stamp of winners on the 2009 Packers. Last year Aaron got a lot of flack for not closing games, granted he struggled some in the final minutes, but he did put us in position to win in a couple of them - problem was that our defense collapsed. This game, Rodgers puts us up and our defense squashed any chance for the Bears to come back. We got some attitude.

Bottom line: Harris = Ultimate Warrior.

Like you said, he had the right to celebrate, wrapping up the game with an interception. His first after going an entire season without last year.

I think it had a little to do with not seeing Cutler as well, though. Or at least not seeing him come. He was fast enough to get that finger down when Cutler came into sight and, if he had seen him come earlier, one single cutback would've been enough to get the TD (Although it wouldn't have mattered).

Harris needs to paint his face like that from now on. Strike fear in the hearts of our enemies!

I was pretty adamant about trading/cutting Al Harris last year. I figured he was too old and just losing his touch, or simply becoming too soft However, after he came back from that spleen injury early, he really gained my respect back.

I think he made a comment last year along the lines of 'I need to play great every game because I feel I could lose my job tomorrow'.

I think there is a ton of better ways to celebrate than that.. could he see if anyone was behind him ala the Lett play? If he was doing it just after he crossed the endzone.. I won't have minded it as much.

Is it a huge deal NO.. but I also absolutely hated when Sanders would high step it down the sidelines.. I think I would have gotten numerous personal foul penalties if I could have caught him doing that crap..

Act like you been there before.
