Bigby does not suck, but his attitude sucks. He is upset that he was signed for 1 year deal. He needs to realize you have to earn the damn money. Work your ass already Bigby be the player you can be. He does not suck, he just aint happy. Anthony Smith. Sorry I really want him back on the team.

Ok, there's been alot of talk about Bigby this summer. He hasn't "flashed," he hasn't made plays. People are saying that he's not the same after his ankle injury. Maybe he hasn't come back from it.
Bigby said before camp that his ankle was much worse than it was reported to be. So, is that the reason he hasn't made his usual big hits or interceptions?
I think it might be that they weren't showing all of the defense. According to Capers, they were only running about a third of all their stuff in the preseason games. So, are we gonna see Bigby light it up when the season starts for real?
I think he'll be fine. Dunno if he'll be up to Palomalu's level, but I think he'll be very good. He'll blitz effectively too. Not to jinx him like I did Brohm, though.

Still puzzling that Smith was let go until Bigby had a firm grip.. no matter the reason he was given the release.

Bigby is the only safety on the team I trust to make a play saving tackle. That is enough for me for him to be back there playing.
What will people consider as a successful season for Bigby? With the other ball hawks out there, he isn't going to have the interceptions, and we don't keep stats on busted tackles. So i think go along with PackFanWithTwins, if he isn't on the other teams highlight reel, then he is doing his job just fine. Now if we start to see him laying on the ground while a running back blows by like with Collins, then I'll call for his replacement, until then I think he's doing just fine.
