Couple of quick thoughts..
1) Corey wasn't worth the money Cleveland shelled out for him. For the pick we received, moving him was the right idea.
2) Losing Corey on our defense had a definite impact, in the rotation of horses and push from the interior.
3) Don't let our preseason fool you.. there is a definite transition to make from a 4-3 DT in Sanders system to a 3-4 end. We have a highly skilled line coach that has been working these guys since the post season minis to get over the hump.. not sure that is available in Cleveland.
4) Don't forget he is in Cleveland which is a mess, new GM, new Coach, and too many wannabee chiefs... the hell with the Raiders or Lions being the worst team in the league.. I think they might win the boobie prize.. and it isn't because of a lack of talent.
I like Corey Williams.. if the Browns cut him loose, I sure the hell would want him back here, in a productive environment... the kid can play this game..
